Great Product

Just completed a 3 week trip using the Morningstar M20M while trekking across mainland Nunavut.

The good:
The sizing was excellent, it says it fits up to 5'9" and I am 5'9", there was about an inch(+) to spare so I wasn't crushed up against the hood or footbox. The yoke collar and side baffle kept me quite warm throughout. The single drawcord for the hood/collar was a breeze to use and saved from having annoying strings and toggles all over the place. The temperatures only got down to -3 or -4°C at night a couple of times so I didn't get to test the bags limits but I was never cold in it, quite the opposite in fact. I was very happy with the ability to ventilate the bag with the secondary zippers on a few of the warmer nights. The bag stuffed down easily into my 8L S2S dry compression bag and packed down very well into the bottom compartment in my pack, while lofting back up nicely every time it was unpacked. The DryShell material seemed to work fairly well, the footbox did get damp a few times as my feet would touch the end of our tent but the down never seemed to really wet out.

Points improve on/Recommendations: Maybe a small zipper garage at the top of the hood as sometimes I could feel the cold metal of the zipper pull on my face. It would be nice to have zipper pull tabs on the inside for the bottom two zipper pulls so the venting can be adjusted from inside the bag.

Overall conclusion:
This bag worked very well and was durable enough to work every night for over three weeks straight without and faults. I would higly recommend this product for both it's quality and price.

Excellent Sleeping Bag

I used Morning Star M20-L sleeping bag on a recent 5 day hiking trip in the Banff Alberta area. The bag performed very well. It was light and compact, warm in the cool September night time temperatures, well made and the long fit my 6' 1" height with lots of room to spare. I am very happy with my purchase.

A great bag

Bought this bag for 3 season backpacking and I am impressed by it's loft and how warm this bag is. I got the -13 version and it packs incredibly small.
I've yet to test it in the alpine during the fall. Will come back to add to my review once tested in below zero conditions.

Worth double.

Picked up a taiga bag this past fall for guiding backpacking trips on the northwest coast and late season camping, absolutely blown away. Great quality for the price, woke up two weeks ago and it was -14 inside my tent but I really couldn't tell. Definitely recommending these to everyone I know!
