Haven’t got to use the product in cold weather yet. This bag lofts up so much but packs down so small it’s incredible. The construction of the bag is of high quality and look forward to the long relationship we are gonna have !

The best sleeping bag I've owned.

I bought this sleeping bag 2 years ago and I use it exclusively to hunt in the colder months. I'm either in a double wall tent or teepee. I run an xtherm pad with this bag and I've never been cold. I've pushed this bag way below the it's rating. You think at -20° I'd be getting cool. Nope. I find these bags are rated conservatively which most of the competition can't claim. The dryshell outer keeps moisture at bay. The side and neck baffles keep out the drafts. The hood is perfect. The loft is insane. Ventilation is easy.
It opens up flat to use as a quilt if it warms up. I'm a larger athletic guy 6'2" 230 with broad shoulders, mummy style bags just don't work for me. This barrel style is a great fit. I have room to roll, side sleep, pull up my knees, ect. My in-store experience was pleasant. I told the staff member what I was looking for and she had a MB30XL in stock. I've ran other high end sleeping bags and this is definitely the best value going and I'm confident it'll last me a lifetime.

Reliably warm!

This is my first real down bag, that being said I have owned several other brands and always struggled with warmth during winter hikes and some cold summer nights. The cloud 9 w/-12 fill has proven itself worthy for westcoast winter nights. I can sleep with no socks etc and stay super warm all night. The barrel design is super cozy with room to move and has enough zipper to vent during hotter nights. Only issue(which is not an issue)is can be a bit tricky to get into a stuff sack as the bag has alot of loft. Packs fairly small and fits perfect at bottom of my backpacks. Worth every penny and could not be happier with this purchase!

Love this sleeping bag. Warm and roomy though only went to -6C on my trip. No feather loss and no cold spots. Lovely large facing on the zipper. Getting into it each night was a pleasure. Bag had to be made and it came well within my deadline.
