    Simply Fantastic

I brought my Taiga Parka and associated ski pants when I lived in Canada in 1996. I still use it today and it performs fantastically well. Since those heady days at Whistler my Taiga combo has accompanied me on ski trips all over the world. It has never let me down. Freezing rain in Zermatt Switzerland, blizzards in Lillehammer Norway to -45 hoar frost in the New Zealand Alps, my equipment performs as well as when I first bought it. The cut is both functional and stylish and my friends are amazed when I tell them how much I paid for it. While my jacket and trousers are still going strong I am now in the market for a new jacket for my wife. As far as I am concerned there is only one brand I would consider despite living 6,000 miles away. If you are looking for good value ski gear that does the job look no further!

    Solid mountain jacket

I picked up this jacket a couple summers ago during a trip to Vancouver as a replacement for a multi-decade old Taiga parka and have been very happy with it. I've worn it hiking through high winds and rain in the Rockies as well as wet, snowy ski trips, and it's kept me dry and comfortable. Love the four generously-sized zippered pockets for holding all that stuff you want to have easy but secure access to. On the recommendation of one of the staff in the shop, I bought the the "all-season" model for the fleece-lined pockets, a particularly nice feature on cool days that is well worth the upgrade from the standard model. Although I didn't buy an optional liner, I find it fits well over my existing fleece and down jackets. The hood is also well designed and stays up place even in high winds (which can't be said for other ones I've tried). A very thoughtfully designed product and great value compared to anything else on the market.

HAD MY CHAMONIX FOR 7 YEARS

I have had my TAIGA Chamonix All-Season for 7 years and am ready to buy a new one. Just wish you sold in the US. I will have to make a trip to Canada to get one.
