Superb value and function

These pants have a perfect combination of warmth, wind-resistance, and some degree of water repellency.
I use them for bird-watching (a lot of standing around), hiking, or just working at my desk in an underheated house.
This is their third winter, and I have worn them a lot for about 6 months of the year: they are still in perfect shape (I'm about to buy a second pair to save "just in case" they stop making them!! BTW, they have a generous fit (as in, a size 12 would fit a size 16 in regular pants) and are stretchy.
