The Blackcomb: a generous down filling coupled with the waterproof shell makes this vest so warm and cozy. The bonus hood is a nice feature to add a little warmth when you need it; hides nicely in the collar when you don't need it. The fit (XL) was perfect for me: good coverage down the back and armholes are just right, not too big and drafty-the collar keeps the neck warm and drafts out. Comfortable soft fleece lined pockets are nice touch on cold mornings. This is an essential piece of gear for the shoulder season and even as a suppliment in winter. It packs down very small so it's easy to bring along wherever you go. Nice to put on during rest breaks to keep you warm. Inside pocket is nice to keep phone(large)/keys or other items in.
